Why we’re mobbing:
We are tired of being told as citizens that we should be responsible for trying to recycle all the TRASH that manufacturers use to package most everything we buy. We would like to remind manufacturers that tell us their items are “recyclable” when they are NOT, that they need to take responsibility for disposing of it. In the spirit of Flash Mob, we mob them with their packaging!

The Break Free From Plastic Pollution Act of 2021 (BFFPPA) is the most comprehensive set of policy solutions to the plastic pollution crisis ever proposed in Congress!

Among other things, it includes comprehensive Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) measures, to save local and municipal governments billions of dollars by shifting the cost of waste management to producers, ensuring their commitment to, and designing for better recyclability.
